Soccer is a beautiful game when played with skill, intelligence, and passion. Our goal at the GBYSA/Boca United Football Club is to provide a safe and fun environment that will teach our players the values of sportsmanship, team work, self-confidence, and respect. Accordingly, we have designed youth recreation and competitive programs for boys and girls between the ages of 5-18 that give everyone the opportunity to learn and enjoy the game of soccer. We also offer an adult recreation program, and other youth supplemental programs throughout the year. All programs are managed by our full-time Director of Player Development, Eric Eichmann.

GBYSA offers two programs for youth soccer players in the Boca Raton area. The Recreation Program runs during a four month period during the Fall and Winter timeframe, and is available to all children between the ages of 5-18. The Advanced Training Program (sometimes referred to as Boca United FC) runs for ten months out of the year, and is designed for selected players that pass a tryout. These programs have been carefully structured to provide for the needs of every player in our club regardless of playing ability and commitment level. Each program is designed to cater to different types of players with very different goals, objectives, and training philosophies. Although these two programs are different, ultimately the programs are designed to compliment each other to the benefit of our club members.

Our comprehensive club programming model is capable of providing playing and training opportunities for players of all skill levels. Unlike most youth soccer clubs in the country, our Recreation Program is under the direction of a professional director/coach and his staff. The professional staff serve to assist our volunteer coaching staff with our players. This important distinction allows our players the opportunity to have independent (non-parent) advice on helping them progress from one program to the next as their passion for learning and ability to play increases. The coaching staff is available year round to advise our parents as to which program would be best suited for their child at any particular time throughout the calendar year.
