How are players chosen to play in the weekend?
Players are evaluated weekly -- during training sessions and game performance. Depending on performances, commitment and overall competition between players, the staff will assign the players who showed best during the past week(s) to play that weekend. We believe playing time is extremely important for a player’s development, especially in the younger age groups, therefore we will always work hard to find a game for all players but if a player is not showing the level of play and/or commitment that the club requires, players will not be assigned to play.

When are the parents & players notified about the weekend game?
Having a Player Centered Structure makes the administration work very hard due to not having set “teams” but having players compete to earn opportunities. Player assignments are sent Tuesday morning of that week for local games and two weeks in advanced for games where more than an hour travel is required.

The club is also working on starting a Video Analysis Program where games will be filmed and players can receive Video Analysis of team and individual performances.

For older players we will hold College Nights where we will invite college coaches to speak to the parents and players about what it takes to attend college and the requirements of being a student-athlete.  The club’s coaching staff also has very close relationships with scores of college coaches.

Will my son automatically be part of the Academy if he was part of the Pre-Academy or Academy the prior season?
As stated in the previous answer, all players will be constantly evaluated and once the season ends, players will be chosen to be part of the group the coaching staff feels is appropriate to their level of play, whether it is with the same group they were the previous season or not. All players are encouraged and motivated by the staff & the club structure to earn through their play any opportunity they desire.
